Here are the answers to most common questions:

No download is necessary. MIS is web-based and you can access it via Internet browser. We do offer mobile apps for IOS and Android that you may download onto a compatible phone or tablet.

Web Based: A computer or mobile device – A built-in or external camera – A microphone, speakers, or a headphone – The latest version of the Google Chrome browser or Firefox browser for computers – The latest version of Safari browser for iPads and iPhones – The latest version of Google Chrome browser for Android devices.

App Based: The latest version of IOS or Android on your mobile device.  Most mobile devices are supported.

That depends on the level of usage you need. If you are using our basic package, it only takes a few minutes to create an account and start scheduling meetings. For branded materials, it may take a few days to get set up.

MIS complies with HIPAA regulations and with the HIPAA Security Rule. You own the data you input into the system and can request it at any time. We will never sell, or use your client’s information in any way beyond helping you with client care. We may use your email, phone number and address to contact you to better deliver our services.

Yes. There are built-in reports and tools that help you export data to Excel, CSV, and PDF. If you need help exporting any data that the software does not allow you to export, please contact us and we will help you.

A branded portal allows you to upload your company’s logo and name to our platform so that when you and your client log in to MIS, your company’s name and logo and our logo appear on the platform, represented by a message at the bottom of the page that reads “Powered by MIS.” We do not charge any set-up fee for a branded portal.

We encourage you to sign up as a Pilot Partner as a favored way to trial the platform.

All annual subscribers can pay by check if they so choose. Monthly subscribers currently have to pay by credit card.

Yes, we designed the platform to be very user-friendly. Clients can join you via a secure link (that expires) without any logins or passwords. They can also join online sessions via the client’s portal or app.

Yes, we support most countries.

Yes we offer both secure chat and messaging.

Yes, you can collect credit card payments from your clients either before or after a session.

Yes, some of our plans offer invoicing. You can also securely send invoices to your clients via our platform.

Yes, you can schedule both your office and telehealth clients using our scheduler. Your clients will also receive reminders about their sessions/meetings.

Yes, you can send your forms in MIS and your clients will be able to fill them out. Once they do, you will receive a notification and you can review them in our system. You may also use the MIS template forms.

Yes, some of our plans allow you to document (Assessment and treatment plan, chart notes, progress notes, etc.). during a live session or after a session. We also have some common templates available (such as SOAP notes).

Yes. MIS allows therapists to use their own materials, such as worksheets, as long as these are in PDF format or are converted to PDF format. Therapists can easily organize their own materials in MIS and retrieve them for sharing and annotation during live sessions with their clients. You can also assign your resources for home practice or education.

Yes, some of our plans include built-in features to help therapists deliver the most effective and dynamic therapy. In addition to its secure and HIPAA compliant video conferencing, MIS offers a built-in white board, document sharing, screen sharing, video-sharing, and fun face and background filters.

Yes, the above features are interactive on both sides (the therapist’s and the client’s sides).
